poco homemade @ bangsar

when someone tells me bangsar, i automatically assume-jalan telawi area which if you are not familar is the bangsar village area. poco however is located on lorong kurau, not really a walk-able distance from jalan telawi, be it 1, 2 or 3. this place, doesn't really look like a cafe. it's pretty quaint on its own, a little awkward.

famous for their cakes-i chose to try their green tea mousse chocolate cake and their signature tofu cake. i wanted to buy like 6 slices, but i was hitting midvalley for 5 hours and the lady said the cake could only last 30 minutes outside the fridge-so sigh.

the greentea mousse, was too creamy a texture for me. its not that its not good, its just i'm awkward and weird in the sense i don't like creamy cakes. so this wasn't my thing. it cost 13 bucks a slice.

now, this tofu cake, 9 bucks, was the bomb. not sweet, texture perfect, aroma right, ticked all the right boxes. i have to say i had high expectations, and u are usually disappointed when you have high expectations, but to my surprise, this was really yummy. next time i go, i'm buying the whole cake-and i am not joking.
